Horsforth Golf Club has a very active membership of more than 550. Our men's, ladies and junior sections offer a full competition fixtures schedule aimed at players of all standards. We also run several friendly mixed events throughout the year and a varied social calendar.
We welcome applications for membership whether by invitation from existing members or if you don’t know anyone here then please contact the Secretary for an application form. The annual fees are shown below and currently we do not charge a joining fee. Several payment methods are available.
If you would like to play the course before you join please contact the Secretary for a suitable tee time.
You will be assured of a warm welcome so please don’t hesitate to contact us by telephoning or sending the enquiry form to our email address.
Social membership is also available giving you the opportunity to relax with friends, take advantage of discounted room hire for private functions and attend the regular social functions arranged by the Social committee. So even if you’re not a golfer we have a membership to suit.

Membership Information
Introductory Family Membership
Introductory Family Membership is another new category being trialled. 2 adults and 2 children closely related (ie children/grandchildren) up to 14 years old can join as a "family" for £450 + £15 round for the adults, with the juniors playing free if the adult is in attendance.
This membership allows for play Sunday to Friday, and members will be permitted to join in competitions run over those qualifying days on payment of entry fee and green fee.
This will be on a rolling calendar year and will be valid for 12 months only after which time a full individual membership will be required, the fee being pro rata for the remainder of the subscription year.
Also included are 2 x 20 minutes golf lessons with Dean or Simon for the family.

Introductory Membership
This is a new membership introduced for 2010 and an ideal way to start life at the Club. You will pay a subscription figure depending on whether you want to play Monday to Friday or Sunday to Friday and at the same time you will pay a members guest green fee (£15). This is only available for your first year of membership, after that you will be offered a full membership.
The main restriction is that you can only play in competitions held through the week and most men's competitions are held on a Saturday, ladies are Tuesday morning.

We have retained a lower fee structure for Ladies as allowed under the provisions of the Equality Act in an effort to raise the profile of Ladies Golf at Horsforth. This will be monitored over a 2 year period after which fees may be equalised for all.

Social membership gives you full use of the Clubhouse at anytime with friends, attending member only functions and full use of all the golf practice facilities. It will even get you a discounted Golf Membership if you want to upgrade to a playing member.
